I’m fascinated by the facts of the Civil War.  I used a photograph as a model for this drawing.  The photo was in the book Civil War: A Complete Photographic History by William C. Davis and Bell L. Wiley.  The book itself is interesting.  It has 4,000 photos of buildings, landscapes and people of the Civil War.  I have used the book to draw several other people as well.
